Miss Lynn asked:

I’m almost 6 weeks pregnant, and this past week has been terrible for me. My morning sickness wasn’t so bad at first, but it has now turned into all day sickness. My doctor told me it was okay to take ondansetron which I am now taking and hoping that it will work. I’m just wondering what the worst weeks of this are going to be and when it is going to subside?

I’d say mine peaked around 8-10 weeks. But mine would be there and awful one day and then gone the next. It ***** and I feel for you. Mine ended around 11 weeks and I hope yours is short too!

Around the stage you’re at now was my worst, i couldnt move for feeling sick and it was all day. For some women it doesn’t go away til they give birth but for most women it starts to subside when entering the second trimester, i’m 4 days off it and my sickness is more or less gone. Try ginger biscuits, dried toast and eating small meals more frequent instead of large ones. Bread and butter strangely took mine off. You can get morning sickness wrist bands i believe, but i just sat it out and it did eventually wean off. xx
