If you are gonna be sick you are gonna be sick! They say to avoid certain types of fish because of mercury! They gave me a list at the dr of things to and not to eat. Take your vitamins and if they make you sick try some flinstones!
YAY congrats!!!

Try the pregnancy forum, I think they will be more useful than this forum since most people on this forum are people trying to conceive. I heard that you need to take your prenatal vitamins, eat vegetables and fruits. Stay away from lunch meat. Have a safe pregnancy. Congrats!

First, for morning sickness eat a soda cracker first thing in the morning with a little water. You should be taking folic acid and a multi vitamin and eating a balanced diet including well cooked meats (avoid processed) and fruits veggies and whole grains. AVOID citrus and milk products during spouts of morning sickness.

For the morning sickness some milk should help since it coats the stomach and helps to neutralize any acids in the stomach. Try that and some crackers. With my mom and I we found out that orange juice worked for us. We drank about a 8 oz glass every morning and I only had morning sickness about 3 times and when I started that it went away. Eat what you want just in small amounts like 4 or 5 times a day to reduce the sickness though out the day. Good luck!
Also the prenatal may both your stomach if you have a sensitive stomach. My Dr tried ever kind of prenatal and they all made me feel worst so she said to take two flinstone vitamins, one in the morning and one in the evening.

Cut the crap food out of your diet. Sodas, sugary drinks. Eat foods high in nutrients. Avoid fast foods, over processed foods, etc. As for morning sickness, keep some saltine crackers by your bed and snack on a few of them if you wake up throughout the night and when you wake up in the morning. They could help settle you stomach. You could also buy a sea band, its a bracelet that looks like a sports band with a ball on it. When you wear it, it presses a pressure point that helps control nausea.

I’d get a book on pregnancy and talk with doc. I’d stay away or limit caffeine to one or two cups at most a day. Stay away from fish high in mercury, eat a healthy diet, stay away from junk food, and only eat like 200-300 more calories a day.
This is all easier said than done. Also increase your water and that can help with preventing swelling. Stay away from salty foods.

I found the best thing for morning sickness was these little hard candies that i got from my local maternity store. They were called preggie pop drops. They are an all natural way to help cure morning sickness. I swore by those things and would use them again in a future pregnancy or recommend them to anyone. As far *** the foods go, stay away from fish, caffeine, and things with a high amount of acid in them. Other than that just eat healthy, its okay to splurge once in a while but don’t overdo it. If you have any concerns call your dr and they’d be more than happy to recommend things you should and shouldn’t have. Congratulations and Good Luck.
