Did anyone start getting morning sickness in the 2nd trimester?

Oddly I didn’t have any morning sickness in my first trimester, but around week 20 I started getting waves of nausea. I also haven’t had much of an appetite. Lately I’ve been very run down so perhaps that’s the reason?

Anyone else?

might want to have them check you for the pregnancy diabetes thing and toxemia just to be safe ,but weird crap happens to your body when your pregnant, and its different with everyone…and every pregnancy you have is different…good luck

the nausea would be the morning sickness, and with my first child it started about 2mths in, and lasted til 6mths or so.

I was only a little nauseated in my first trimesters and (pardon the bluntness) I threw up 2 or 3 times a days in my second. I kept peanut butter crackers and flavored water with me. For some reason I wouldn’t throw up unless my stomach was empty or if I got too hot. Snack lightly throughout the day and keep cool! I was working so my OB gave me an anti nausea medication and it helped a lot!

I didn’t get anywhere near barfing until I was 12 weeks pregnant, and then for three weeks it got quite bad. I spewed so much last week (15 weeks)- couldn’t keep anything down in the morning. Admittedly I’m under a heap of job stress at the moment, but I hope it settles soon.

My MIL informed me that with all five of her pregnancies, the sickness started in the second trimester and just kept getting worse to the end. I hope yours goes away really soon :)

It may be that your hormones just kicked into overdrive…they say the more sick you are, the more hormones you have building. but I would have it checked.
