i was put on zofran. completely safe for the baby. takes the sickness away so you can at least eat and function. good luck! hopefully it goes away after your 1st trimester like mine did…
i never had morning sickness, but a friend of mine said that she kept saltine crackers beside her bed and every morning before er feet hit the floor she would eat a few crackers and that helped. also she kept gum in her mouth all the time and said that helped. good luck.
The 2nd trimester is the ONLY thing that cured my morning sickness with all 3 kids!! Watermelon jolly ranchers, ginger tea and saltines helped ease the morning sickness, but that beautiful second trimester was the only thing that stopped it:)
Peppermints are the only thing that keeps me from throwing up sometimes. I go no where without them! I also do the whole banana, sprite, saltine routine when it’s really bad. Eat small meals and drink plenty of fluids-dehydration makes it worse! If it gets too bad for you and you can’t keep anything down talk with your doctor about medication. I take promethazine (generic for phenegrin) but only 1/4 of the recommended dose b/c it knocks me out if I take the whole pill. The medicine cuts the nausea and allows me to either eat, sleep or just care for my older children. Good luck!
They say ginger is good, maybe try some ginger beer.
If I had to drive somewhere, i would get an icypole and **** on it while driving that helped me not be sick in the car.
i lived off saltines and gingerale! I had morning sickness 24/7 for the first four months………..They also say if you eat a few crackers before you get up out of bed in the morning before you *** or anything it’ll curve some of your sickness, so keep some at your bed side…..
I never had morning sickness, but I read in a magazine to help with this is to smell a fresh sliced lemon and the article also said that you should carry lemon slices in a baggie in your purse so when you feel sick to the stomach just take out the baggie and smell it. i know this sounds strange and i really dont know if it works or not, but i guess it doesnt hurt to try lol good luck to you and your baby!!!!
ginger tea
ginger root peeled and steeped in boiling hot water for 20 min
perrier water… the carbination can ease a queasy stomach
try not to be in a hurry to get out of bed: that helped me alot to start to take my time to get up instead of hoping up out of the bed.
